Jazz and Cocktails at Almanak
Start your weekend right by enjoying the afternoon at our terrace, where we, a part of Copenhagen Jazz Festival, invite you to join us for jazz and cocktails Friday july 12th from 3 – 5 PM.
Chris Andersen Polish Trio (DK/US/PL) will deliver the music and we will make sure that the drinks are cool, and the view is beautiful as always.
The concert is free when you buy drinks and there is no need for registration.

The Danish/American drummer Christopher Andersen has been in New York for the last half year gigging and teaching. He previously received a bachelor in performance from Berklee College of Music. He has played with artists such as Melissa Aldana, Paul Sikivie, Lauren Desberg, Vanisha Gould, Mikkel Ploug and Dotan Negrin (PianoAroundTheWorld).
The Polish tenor saxophonist Marek Konarski has his bachelors degree from Syddansk Musikkonservatorium in Odense and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. He has won prestigious awards such as ”Jazz Musician of the year” in 2015 here on Funen, Denmark. Blue Note Jazz Competition in Poznań, Polen and Tarnów Jazz Contest in 2016. In 2012 he released his first album with the Tone Raw Quartet. He has played in many international contexts with Jerry Bergonzi, Tim Hagans, Anders Mogensen, Carl Winther and many others.
The talented Polish bassist Michal Nienadowski is also educated from Syddansk Musikkonservatorium in Odense where he studied with Bo Stief. He has led many projects, traveled the world and participated in workshops with Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter and Jerry Bergonzi.
