Thanks for great experiences!

At The Standard, we wish to facilitate activities that share the joy of food and socializing all year round. Thus, we have been completely overwhelmed by the great support we have had for our various events throughout the year, and, of course, we will do our absolute best to live up to the standard as we plan new events for the year to come. Last week we held two very different events with the thing in common that all tickets were sold the same day they went on sale. We were, therefore, delighted to welcome 70 children and young people who had secured a ticket for "SMAGENS TIME", in addition to welcoming guests at STUDIO, where Alan Bates, Poul Cunningham and Henne Kirkeby Kro created an unforgettable evening.


This year's theme for "SMAGENS TIME" was the waste of food, and our chefs had created a 3-course menu based on the fact that both consideration for food waste, as well as for the environment and climate in general, can and should taste good. The profits from "SMAGENS TIME" go to improve the future of vulnerable and marginalized groups, such as the education of chefs in poor areas.

The Standard participates in "SMAGENS TIME" every year, and each year we are impressed by the open and unreserved approach the children have to what we serve to them. Thanks a lot for them and that.


With the curiosity the children show at such a young age, one can only imagine that they will also appreciate great food experiences later in life - and that was exactly what a more grown-up audience went for on Thursday 3oth at STUDIO.

To the sound of the '80s musical favourites, smiles, loud laughs, and wholehearted hugs were shared amongst Alan Bates and his former colleagues from two-star Michelin restaurant Henne Kirkeby Kro, as they took up the open kitchen at STUDIO.

"We can't promise we will be well-behaved, but we can promise a fun evening!", were the words of Alan Bates before the evening took off. And that was exactly what went down.

Greetings from the guests triggered gifts for Alan Bates and Paul Cunningham - of course in the Star Wars theme, which is the two chefs' joint fandom. In general, all of the evening's guests helped create a truly amazing evening at STUDIO, which will never be forgotten.
